Injury Prevention Professional (fill-in)

HealthFitness is hiring a fill-in (# of hours depends on demand) Injury Prevention Professional to join our team at client sites in Anna, OH and/or Russells Point, OH.

This position is based in a manufacturing environment, so adaptability and a proactive approach are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conducts employee injury prevention programs, education, and training.
• Develops exercise programs specific to injury prevention and conditioning needs.
• Collects and documents appropriate program data to support the ROI process.
• Develops, promotes, and markets wellness and general education programs.
• Supports employee healthcare teams with job function assessment, incident investigation, and care management.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, or Exercise Science or other related field.
• Current Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
• Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.
• Preferred work experience in a clinical environment (occupational therapy, physical therapy, cardiac rehab, nursing).
• 2-3 years’ experience in corporate-based health and fitness programs.
• Understanding of Biomechanics, occupational safety, and proficient in exercise prescription.

Pay

$21 - $24/Hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
