Injury Prevention Professional

Help keep employees safe, strong, and injury-free, where your work truly matters! HealthFitness is seeking a dedicated Injury Prevention Professional to join our team in Bath, Maine, stepping into an established and valued role that plays a critical part in supporting employee health and safety.
Responsibilities
- Conducts employee injury prevention programs, education, and training.
- Develops exercise programs specific to injury prevention and conditioning needs.
- Collections and documents appropriate program data to support the ROI process.
- Develops, promotes, and markets wellness and general education programs.
- Supports employee healthcare teams with job function assessment, incident investigation and care management.
- Other duties as needed/assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, or Exercise Science or other related field required.
- Current Adult CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required.
- Personal Training certification from ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NASM, NETA or NSCA a plus.
- First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute preferred.
- Work experience in a clinical environment (occupational therapy, physical therapy, cardiac rehab, nursing) preferred.
- 2-3 years’ experience in corporate based health and fitness program preferred.
- Understanding of Biomechanics, occupational safety and proficient in exercise prescription preferred.
Qualifications
- Pre-employment drug test required.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
$27.00-$29.00 per hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week, 8-hour shifts scheduled between 7:30am-4pm, may occasionally need to work later.
