Duties & Responsibilities
- Determines coverage and liability
- Negotiate with claimants or their attorneys
- Settle claims and set reserves
- Estimates cost of treatment or compensation for those injured in accidents
- Analyze and interpret medical reports, follow-up with no-fault parties, and manage claims process to ensure efficient resolution
- Interview, collect and document information from various people such as claimants, agents/brokers, attorneys, and police
Must-have Qualifications
- Four years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling
- {OR} Associate's degree and three years relevant work experience with one year in claims handling
- {OR} Bachelor's degree and one year in claims handling
Prior Skills
- Prior unrepresented bodily injury claims handling experience
- {OR} Prior attorney represented bodily injury claims handling experience
Schedule
- Training: Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm for the first three weeks
- Starting in week four through week thirteen, the schedule is Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm
- After training, the schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm
Location
You must reside within 50 miles of Progressive's Warwick Claims office at 300 Centerville Road, Suite 301, Warwick, RI 02886.
Compensation
$69,400 - $89,800/yearly

Annual cash incentive payment up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
