About the role

Climax Molybdenum offers an employment package that values excellence, safety, and employee growth. The Henderson mine and mill are located in Colorado, with the mine being an underground molybdenum mining operation and the mill situated 15 miles away. Both sites are surrounded by US Forest Service land, providing opportunities for outdoor activities.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, deliver and install personal computers, telephones, networking, and peripheral equipment using established procedures and processes.
• Perform preventative maintenance on voice and data communication systems and associated hardware, maintaining accurate documentation.
• Participate in Safety and Environmental programs, ensuring MIS policy compliance and site operational goals.
• Perform voice, network, and PC and basic wireless troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose infrastructure problems.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Two (2) years of experience in computer/electronic systems hardware/software troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in the installation, repair, and maintenance of PC hardware, software, printers, fax machines, and telephone handsets.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose issues with computers, peripherals, cellular, and voice systems.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technology, including wireless networking equipment.
• Basic knowledge of voice systems (PBX/VoIP).
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, and both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
• Customer service-oriented and possesses good organizational skills.
• Awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions, ability to follow safety practices, and recognize hazards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Physical/Virtual server management training.
• RF field experience.
• CompTIA (A+, Security+, Net+, Security+) certifications.
• MESH network certification.
• BICSI (Cable Installer Certification).
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification.

What We Offer You

The estimated pay range for this role is currently $28.00 - $38.00/hour. Additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance may apply. Employees who work on-site are eligible for a $1,450 monthly housing allowance, provided they meet program guidelines.
