Infrastructure Systems Engineer - SME

About the role

A typical day involves analyzing the existing Virtual infrastructure and developing an adaptable and scalable design to meet mission needs, as well as implementing cross-domain solutions that support various complexity levels.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing the existing Virtual infrastructure and developing an adaptable and scalable design to meet the needs of the mission customer.
• Implement cross-domain solutions that support requirements of varying complexity in addition to planning and managing the coordinated effort of a team of different stakeholders' information technology.

Requirements

• Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
• Minimum of 16 years related experience.
• Technical Skills: Linux platform, SNMP, Nagios, Splunk, SolarWinds, patching and maintaining server build, software development lifecycle.
• Preferred Qualifications: Work independently; and manage multiple task assignments; Ability to facilitate discussion among people with differing backgrounds and opinions and lead to consensus; High-level knowledge of Cloud Computing.
