Responsibilities
- Install & administer SCCM Primary & Secondary Server software, including Management Points, Cloud Management Gateway (CMG), Co-Managed device management.
- Install & administer SQL used for SCCM.
- Maintain application performance by monitoring and implementing appropriate actions to control, correct, or improve SCCM performance.
- Perform routine maintenance operations on the application, including updates to Express Metrics & ServiceNow database, ensuring integrity of SCCM database, and performing updates to the SCCM application as required.
- Support and trouble manage SCCM clients, including responding to and resolving Level 1 and Level 2 support tasks, executing disaster recovery procedures, and providing 2nd/3rd level support.
- Create and manage Configuration Profiles, Compliance Policies, and Device Life Cycle for enrolled mobile devices (iOS, macOS, Windows 10, and Android).
- Provision and set ESP and other profiles for Windows Autopilot.
- Distribute Intune / SCCM packages to clients in all regions, administer software metering, and distribute licensed software to individual clients.
- Provide 2nd-level support for software distribution problems.
- Generate hardware & software inventory reports and software usage reports using Intune / SCCM.
- Administer Web Reporting site and customize hardware Inventory as per CANDESCENT requirements.
- Manage patches for all workstations & non-ITS servers, update and perform cleanup in WSUS on a regular basis, approve and package security updates, test and deploy updates to workstations and servers on an approved roll out schedule.
- Present verbal and written technical information to technical and non-technical audiences and act as liaison or point of contact with customers, third parties, and internal organizations on technical issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure administration, specifically in SCCM and Intune environments.
- Experience with SQL databases and Microsoft Office 365.
- Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android operating systems.
- Knowledge of cloud-based services and infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
