Infrastructure Manager
About the role
This position is responsible for the strategic development and operation of Company's server and container-based computing platforms and systems that host enabling software in support of Company’s applications. These enabling software products include web servers, middleware, SSL provisioning, DNS, and application traffic management. This position manages a team of 1 supervisor, fourteen full-time employees, and eleven contracted workers. The role is responsible for the design, build, enhancement, integration, provisioning, support, and maintenance of these compute platforms.
Responsibilities
- Establishes a strategic direction for enterprise computing services technologies that enables the business to meet its strategic and operational objectives.
- Develops and implements a comprehensive computing services technology roadmap for the enterprise that transforms business operations and facilitates competitive differentiation and advantage.
- Drives and manages continuous improvement of computing solutions and services, including delivery, maintenance, provisioning, production support and reliability.
- Applies strong leadership and strategic thinking to a diverse set of opportunities and challenges, serving as a true strategic partner and business enabler.
- Drives innovation and leverages technology to create value.
- Establishes and maintains excellent working relationships and partnerships with leadership throughout the enterprise, industry peers and groups, external vendors, and suppliers.
- Provides leadership for critical strategic initiatives that improve and optimize the computing infrastructure and fully executes on business initiatives.
- Delivers computing solutions that are common where possible and custom where it counts.
- Provides cost-effective management, rationalization and simplification of the company’s computing services technologies, systems and projects.
- Enforces appropriate TO policies, best practices, processes, systems and technology portfolio and lifecycle management, and program and project management.
- Leads and manages an organization of computing services leaders and technical professionals.
- Continuously monitors and evaluates the operating model and supporting organizational design to identify efficiencies and synergies and ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Creates an overall computing services budget and manages financial performance.
- Hires, develops, rewards, and retains a highly qualified and diverse leadership team.
- Creates an environment that fosters accountability, innovation, and engagement at all levels.
- Establishes him/herself as a thought leader and integral part of the Infrastructure Services leadership team.
Requirements
- Education: Degree preferred; BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: Four or more years of experience in IT, leading teams, and supporting infrastructure or applications.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of information technology with extensive knowledge of technology environments, including telecommunications, networks, compute, application integration and cybersecurity.
- Experience: Establishing and defining comprehensive technology strategies and roadmaps that meet the strategic and operational objectives of the business.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $160,000.00 - $168,000.00/yr.
