What You Will Be Doing
- Supports customers to identify and resolve software and hardware issues.
- Implements new computer setups, including imaging, software installation, and hardware upgrades.
- Applies desktop updates and makes configuration modifications.
- Identifies and resolves problems with a focus on help desk ticket resolution.
- Develops and maintains standard workstation images for desktops and laptops.
- Architects and implements patch distribution management.
- Maintains workstation operation systems with the latest security updates.
- Understands and manages Active Directory group policies and application groups.
- Provides ongoing hardware and software support for all technologies.
- Addresses help desk tickets efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoots and resolves technology failures, documenting required changes.
- Manages multiple priorities including tickets, projects, and other assigned tasks.
- Keeps current with technology trends and changes related to the position.
Qualifications
- Specific Technology Skills/Experience: PC Security Administration/Update experience, Active Directory experience, Mobile device experience, Microsoft and IOS experience.
- Qualifications & Educational Requirements: Associate degree in technically related field preferred. Experience providing computer and network support. Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Extensive troubleshooting skills. Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal skills for both internal and external communications.
- Required Clearances: Act 151: Child Abuse History Clearance, Act 34: Pennsylvania State Criminal History Clearance, Act 114: Federal Criminal History Clearance, Act 168: Required Employment History Review, Act 24: Arrest/Criminal Conviction Report.
