Information Technology Project Manager, ITSS

About the Role
This position is responsible for the planning and implementation of complex IT projects supporting multiple businesses within the organization. Projects pertain to the delivery of timely, quality IT services and/or relate to improving business effectiveness and efficiency. The role is remote, with occasional travel to our Indianapolis, IN office locations. Qualified candidates must reside in the Eastern or Central time zones, and it is strongly preferred that candidates are local to the Indianapolis, IN area.
Responsibilities
- Assumes responsibility for the company's systems and network infrastructure projects to ensure deliverables are stable, available, and reliable to meet the goals and objectives of the business.
- Partners with project sponsors to define project objectives, scope, schedule, and budget. Establishes project charter and plan, including success criteria.
- Leads and directs project teams to meet project objectives.
- Identifies and negotiates schedules, milestones, and resources required to meet project objectives and success criteria.
- Interacts with all levels of employees to visualize and understand IT-related problems and provide competent solutions.
- Recommends new technologies and systems that will help improve the organization and various businesses.
- Regularly works with other IT employees, consultants, and programmers—both internal and external—as necessary.
- Provides coaching, mentoring, and guidance to project team members and/or others in Project Management roles.
- Works with client departments and stakeholders to coordinate systems testing, installation, training, and support.
- Keeps informed of advances in technology and Project Management.
- Reports and communicates effectively to the Manager, IT Project Management, and other IT leaders regarding all aspects of assigned projects, associated tasks, and related recommendations.
- Performs other IT-related duties as assigned to support the overall goals of ITSS.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including continuously growing in alignment with the Company’s core values, competencies, and skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of project management experience.
- Preferred experience working in an IT environment or supporting IT-related projects.
- Preferred experience utilizing AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.

Licenses and Certifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) – Project Management Institute (PMI) preferred.
