Information Technology Project Manager
About the role
This is a hybrid position with in-office requirements. You will coordinate and complete major IT projects that support our client’s strategic goals. The role covers all aspects of project management for assigned initiatives, including establishing deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and tracking progress through the Program Management Office (PMO) processes.
You will build and maintain positive working relationships with the PMO/IT Department, project team members, other departments, and vendors. As a mentor to other Project Managers, you will set project-level standards for process and technology development, testing, and documentation. In coordination with the PMO Director, you will participate in evaluating, selecting, and implementing new technologies and promoting technical standards across the enterprise.

Responsibilities
- Oversee all project management tasks for assigned IT projects.
- Establish deadlines and assign responsibilities.
- Summarize and report project progress through PMO processes.
- Mentor other Project Managers.
- Set project-level standards for process, technology development, testing, and documentation.
- Participate in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new technologies.
- Promote technical standards across the enterprise.
- Direct and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the IT user community.
- Understand project economics and financial forecasting modeling.
- Review, change, and optimize processes and workflows as part of technology deployment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems required; combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 4–6 years of relevant healthcare-based project and implementation management.
- Minimum of 2 years in an IT supervisory position or role.
- CAPM or PMP certification required; if applicant does not possess, must be willing to pursue.
- Demonstrated experience in healthcare software, hardware, and enterprise solutions.
- Working knowledge of healthcare delivery systems (Healthcare, Lifecare, Homecare, Physician practice).
