Information Technology Project Manager

Pinnacle Method Consulting is seeking a skilled Information Technology Project Manager to lead project management for the Division of Child Support. This role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of various information system transformation projects, providing strategic direction, and ensuring project governance and monitoring controls are in place.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design, development, and implementation of various information system transformation projects.
• Providing strategic direction to the agency.
• Assisting with defining strategic direction of enterprise level IT implementations.
• Defining business and technological requirements by consulting with product owner, subject matter experts, and scrum teams.
• Managing and coordinating efforts of development teams and vendors to ensure solutions are implemented successfully.
• Ensuring project governance and monitoring controls are in place.
• Ensuring project design, development, and implementation are on time and budget.
• Mentoring state personnel in project management and potentially training state resources to take over this function.

Requirements

• Knowledge of child support program policies, procedures, and business practices.
• Experience on child support system modernization projects.
• Successful experience managing information technology solutions.
• PMP certification or equivalent working experience.
• Knowledge of various software development methodologies (agile, waterfall, DevOps, etc.).
• Experience in successfully applying project management and project governance principles.

Pay

The expected pay range for this position is $60.00-$70.00 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Non-exempt employees are eligible for overtime. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, 401(k) without employer match. Paid Sick leave is provided based on state or local laws.

Schedule

Remote work with occasional travel to Pierre, South Dakota.
