Information Technology Manager

About the role
Build the structure, systems, and team behind Straticon’s growing IT department. Straticon is seeking an IT Manager to help lead the day-to-day operations of a growing IT department, with a strong focus on hands-on technical work. You will oversee our IT Specialists and work closely with company leadership to bring structure, consistency, and accountability to a growing IT function. This role is a strong fit for someone who wants to combine hands-on troubleshooting with the opportunity to build processes, documentation, and leadership into a team from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day troubleshooting and hands-on IT work across the organization.
- Team processes and documentation that improve consistency, accountability, and response times.
- Identification of gaps in current IT operations, tools, and processes, with recommended improvements.
- Evaluation and rollout of new systems, software, and security initiatives across the company.
- Development of IT policies, procedures, and governance standards.
- Timely resolution of IT issues, with hands-on support for infrastructure, network, and security tasks as needed.
- Security and reliability of company systems, networks, and end-user devices.
- Incident response efforts, including breach detection, containment, and resolution.

Requirements
- 5+ years of IT experience, including 2+ years in a leadership, senior, or lead capacity.
- Experience supporting enterprise IT operations, including systems administration, networking, and security fundamentals.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and support a small, growing team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
