Information Technology Lead
About the Position
The IT Lead plays a key role in maintaining and enhancing CPR’s Windows-based technology and network infrastructure, ensuring our systems are secure, reliable, and supporting the day-to-day work of our staff. In this role, you’ll administer and troubleshoot everything from servers, networking equipment and enterprise systems down to laptops and workstations (when needed). You’ll also lead infrastructure projects that improve our technology environment and serve as a trusted technical resource, partnering with technical and non-technical staff to solve complex problems, provide exceptional support, and mentor members of the IT team.
The new hire is expected to reside in the Denver Metro upon starting - this is not a remote position. This position’s schedule is Monday through Friday with on-call hours each month and some evening or weekend work for patches and updates. This position will work in-facility at our offices in Centennial, Colorado.
About You
- Curiosity and a growth-oriented mindset drive your approach to work, as you look for improved ways to solve problems and stay current with emerging technologies.
- You communicate technical concepts clearly and accessibly to users with varying levels of technical expertise, balancing excellent customer service with protecting the organization's systems and security.
- In past roles, you've shared your knowledge by mentoring colleagues with less experience.
- Collaboration and respect are central to how you work, and you're comfortable asking questions or seeking support when you don't have the answer.
- You naturally think beyond the immediate issue, recognizing how changes can affect the broader technology environment.
- You're confident leading projects, coordinating priorities and remaining calm under pressure when critical systems impact our operations.
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years experience administering Windows-based server, workstation and network environments.
- A minimum of 1 year experience mentoring and coaching colleagues while providing technical guidance and project oversight.
- Proficiency administering Microsoft Windows Server, Windows workstations and core network infrastructure, including VPNs, firewalls, routing, switching and standard network services.
- Knowledge of enterprise technologies such as virtualization, remote access solutions, Microsoft SQL Server, Google Workspace, multi-factor authentication and VoIP phone systems.
- Experience with Fortinet firewalls and switches.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
- Proven ability to lead technical projects from planning through implementation.
