About the role
We are seeking a high-energy, collaborative Information Technology (IT) Co-Op to join our Philadelphia office. This co-op will experience all aspects of the IT Department, including Networking and Infrastructure, Customer Support and Experience, Application Development, and BIM. The role offers the opportunity to work with each area and contribute to the firm’s success while growing your skills.
Responsibilities
- Customer Support and Experience: Assist with all aspects of IT support, from Help Desk to higher-level issues. Learn Level 1 and 2 help desk basics, including hardware, software, documentation, training, responsiveness, and professionalism.
- Networking and Infrastructure: Work with the Network Architecture team on routing and switching, firewall rules, cybersecurity, server configuration, and virtualization.
- BIM: Collaborate with the BIM team to understand the intersection of technology and business processes, supporting the production team critical to the firm’s success.
- Application Development: Gain insight into creating new products and services for clients and improving internal efficiencies for staff.
Requirements
- A demonstrated ability to learn the basics within the discipline and grow within the firm.
- Coursework in a four-year undergraduate program with a focus in Application Development, MIS, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of internship experience preferred.
