Information Technology Asset Manager

About the role

Our client is seeking a Technology Asset Manager to manage the full lifecycle of hardware and software assets while improving IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes, controls, and reporting. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across Technology and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage hardware and software inventory from procurement through deployment, refresh, and disposal.
• Coordinate technology purchasing, shipments, receipts, and inventory updates.
• Maintain accurate asset records and support physical inventory/stockroom audits.
• Analyze asset data to identify risks, gaps, utilization opportunities, and future needs.
• Improve ITAM processes, controls, governance, and reporting.
• Support security, compliance, licensing, and audit requirements.
• Partner with Technology, vendors, and business stakeholders to drive process improvements.
• Provide training and support on asset management processes.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in IT asset management, inventory tracking, procurement, supplier/vendor management, or a related area.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Intermediate/advanced PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with ServiceNow or a similar ITSM/ITAM platform.
• Axonius experience strongly preferred.
• Exposure to Intune, Lansweeper, Rapid7, or similar tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of IT asset disposal/end-of-life processes preferred.
• Experience with AI productivity tools such as Copilot or Claude is a plus.

Pay

$105,000 to $120,000 annually. Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications.
