Information Systems Security Officer, Senior

Responsibilities

• Identify the security system needed to assess vulnerabilities and recommend the best solution and security strategy.
• Lead the development and implementation of security solutions that will protect infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges for customers using your knowledge of security devices and implementation.
• Use your curiosity for technology and market trends to further research and develop security solutions.
• Assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises.
• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas; leverage big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as an ISSO on Government and/or DoD contracts.
• Experience proposing, coordinating, implementing and enforcing information systems security policies, standards and mythologies.
• Experience developing and maintaining documentation for C&A in accordance with ODNI and DoD Policies.
• Experience providing CM for security-relevant information system software, hardware, and firmware.
• Supports clients and high-level government or corporate officers.
• Knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation, communication protocols or encryption tools.
• Ability to evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information.
• Ability to serve as an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and provide oversight to other ISSOs.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.

• The projected compensation range for this position is $76.93 to $91.35 per hour.
