About the role
The Information Systems Security Officer (HPC) is responsible for ensuring the security of high-performance computing systems. Key responsibilities include conducting security assessments, implementing security policies, and responding to security incidents.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular security assessments and risk evaluations of HPC systems.
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data.
- Respond to security incidents and breaches in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into new systems and applications.
- Stay updated on emerging threats and implement countermeasures as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- CISSP certification or equivalent experience.
- Experience with HPC systems and security best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to manage security operations and oversee security teams.
- Knowledge of industry-standard security tools and technologies.
- Experience with incident response and threat hunting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Experience with network security, encryption, and access controls.
- Proficient in using security management software and tools.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
