About the role

The Information Systems Security Officer (HPC) is responsible for ensuring the security of high-performance computing systems. Key responsibilities include conducting security assessments, implementing security policies, and responding to security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular security assessments and risk evaluations of HPC systems.
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data.
• Respond to security incidents and breaches in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into new systems and applications.
• Stay updated on emerging threats and implement countermeasures as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• CISSP certification or equivalent experience.
• Experience with HPC systems and security best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage security operations and oversee security teams.
• Knowledge of industry-standard security tools and technologies.
• Experience with incident response and threat hunting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
