Information Security Analyst (Hybrid)

About the role

Responsible for threat monitoring and incident response, vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, access control and identity management, policy and compliance enforcement, and customer security assessments.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor networks and systems for security breaches or anomalies using SIEM tools.
• Investigate, contain, and remediate security incidents when they occur.
• Run periodic security scans, perform vulnerability assessments, and coordinate penetration testing to identify and patch system weaknesses.
• Oversee access permissions, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and identity and access management (IAM) policies to ensure least-privilege access.
• Help establish security standards and operational procedures.
• Ensure systems adhere to industry compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
• Participate in annual compliance activities.
• Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service Managers, Product Managers, and ISSMs in addressing customer security concerns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of professional work experience in technology field.
• Strong working knowledge of common security control frameworks and certifications (NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2).
• Knowledge of focused security control preferred (NIST 800-171, CMMC, FedRAMP, DoD 8500.01, DHS 4300A).
• Professional certifications preferred (Security+ CE, CEH, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, ITIL).

Pay

Target Base Salary Range: $70,000 – $75,000. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
