Information Review & Release Analyst

About the role

Nightwing is seeking an Information Review and Release Analyst to support the KODIAK Program. This position involves overseeing the declassification process for litigation-related documents, ensuring compliance with EO 13526, FOIA, and Privacy Act laws.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the chronological recording of declassification processes for litigation cases.
• Organize documents for legal counsel review, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
• Act as a liaison between OGA and Nightwing staff.
• Conduct desktop research and analysis to determine relevance of new searches or declassification decisions.
• Provide rationale for redactions and document release recommendations for Sponsor approval.
• Manage the referral process for OGA equities and non-routine handling.
• Research and assign documents to the appropriate equity holders.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy in declassification decisions and provide feedback to the Sponsor.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Experience with declassification processes and legal requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Knowledge of FOIA, Privacy Act, and EO 13526.

• Experience with declassification guidelines and Sponsors automated systems.
