Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze select documentation to make redactions based on the criteria of Executive Order (EO) 13526, the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), and the Privacy Act (PA).
  • Utilize and implement critical thinking during the review process to ensure each redaction adheres to legally defined exemption codes.
  • Reviews & redacts certain equities within classified documents, records and files in accordance with established standard operating procedures, work flows and policies.
  • Sets up requests to the scanning team to scan any documents needed for research.
  • Sets up requests to the search team to conduct the initial search for data relevant to the case.
  • Aids in the training of newly hired search team members, as requested.
  • Collaborates with supervisory client POCs to recommend and implement changes that improve processes, workflows and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (applicants within one year of earning a four year degree will be considered); there is no preferred major or program of study (degrees from foreign academic institutions are accepted).

Pay

This position requires a Top Secret/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope polygraph. Clearance is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.

Schedule

This position has an on-site requirement and is not eligible for fully remote candidates.
