About the role

Nightwing is seeking a part-time Information Review and Release Analyst to support the KODIAK Program. This position involves overseeing the declassification process for litigation-related documents, adhering to FOIA, PA, EOMDR, and EO 13526 guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the declassification process for litigation-related documents.
  • Record the chronological order of events from document creation to declassification.
  • Organize documents for legal counsel review.
  • Conduct desktop research and analyze results to determine relevance of new searches or previous declassifications.
  • Provide rationale for redactions and make recommendations for document release.
  • Manage referrals to Other Government Agencies (OGAs).
  • Research and assign documents to appropriate equity holders.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in declassification decisions.
  • Collaborate with team members to drive innovation and solve complex problems.

Requirements

  • Mandatory Skills:
    • Knowledge of FOIA, PA, EOMDR, and EO 13526 programs.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
    • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience in legal systems, such as police enforcement or court systems.
    • Strong work ethic and organizational/time management skills.
    • Proficiency in online tools like Word, Excel, and Access.
    • Strong multitasking ability and flexibility.
  • Education/Skill Experience:
    • A bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of relevant experience, or 6+ years of specific experience.
    • Previous experience at a Fortune 100 company in Dulles, VA.
    • Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly and crossover eligibility.

Qualifications

  • Must be detail-oriented and handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with Poly and be crossover eligible.
