About the role
As an Information Management / eDiscovery Specialist Senior, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to our mission. You will play a crucial role in protecting our data from creation to disposition: from information governance through to legal investigations, records retention, and more.
Responsibilities
- Support defensible, auditable governance of GDIT’s data and records, working with records coordinators and decision-makers across the enterprise to ensure our records retention policies are consistently enforced and up to date
- Collaborate with GDIT’s legal and IT teams, outside counsel, and matter custodians to conduct investigations and manage eDiscovery cases
- Drive eDiscovery cases from end to end; identifying, preserving, and collecting the data in-house, and processing, constructing searches and review sets for counsel, and producing responsive documents from our in-house eDiscovery platform
- Utilize FedRAMP-certified platforms like Microsoft Purview and RelativityOne Government to collect and process data for investigations and legal matters
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of related experience with specialization in eDiscovery; or certification in a relevant field, such as: Relativity certifications, CEDS, eDAdv, eDTech, IGP, Essentials of IG, CDMP
- Processing ingestions, searching, and creating review sets and productions in an eDiscovery Review platform such as Relativity or equivalent
- Broad knowledge of IT infrastructures, including storage, backup, retention, destruction, and data management; especially in the M365 suite, such as Microsoft Purview
- Solid understanding of discovery methodologies and the legal processes and requirements of discovery
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical terminology, concepts, and issues in terms understandable to both technical and non-technical resources
- Ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships with both remote and local members of your team in a hybrid environment
- Ability to manage projects and proactively prioritize competing requirements
- Intuitiveness with an ability to identify and point out opportunities for improvement in a complex environment
- Hybrid position working at our GDIT facility in Falls Church, VA. Must be comfortable working onsite (3) days a week minimum

Pay
The likely salary range for this position is $93,662 - $94,999.
