Description

The Informatics Pharmacist (Willow reporting focus) supports clinical reporting for laboratory systems. This role partners with clinicians and operational leaders to develop actionable reporting solutions using Epic Cogito and Epic Willow modules. Responsibilities include understanding business objectives, designing and developing reports, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Understand business objectives and translate them into data requirements
  • Design and develop reports or dashboards
  • Schedule and deploy business intelligence components according to best practices
  • Document accurately and timely
  • Collaborate with business and technology departments
  • Develop advanced knowledge of system capabilities
  • Identify and review technological solutions for various reporting needs
  • Create reports to display Clarity and Caboodle data
  • Write SQL and configure Radar settings for custom metrics
  • Modify existing reports as necessary
  • Distribute Clarity and Caboodle reports to consumers
  • Review peer reports for validity
  • Test report builds in specified environments
  • Review upgrade documentation and determine implementation changes
  • Maintain strong relationships with application vendors
  • Provide project management services and support
  • Ensure compliance with EHC IS, EHC, Joint Commission, and HIPAA guidelines
  • Assist in queue management
  • Stay current on Epic new version training

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy (BS or PharmD degree)
  • Active, unencumbered state licensure issued by the Board of Pharmacy
  • Two years hospital pharmacy experience or PGY2 Pharmacy Informatics Residency
  • Completion of an accredited PGY1 Residency and a PGY2 Pharmacy Informatics Residency preferred
  • Previous experience in an academic medical center environment preferred
  • Epic Analyst experience preferred
