Informatics and Analytics Coordinator - REMOTE

Gateway Rehab Center (GRC) is seeking an Informatics and Analytics Coordinator to support the Strategic Management department. This remote position involves daily, weekly, and monthly tasks related to the administration of the Electronic Medical Record (currently Sigmund Software/Aura, SAAS model) and data analysis for recurring reporting. Occasional travel for training and business needs is required. Candidates must live within the Pittsburgh, PA area or surrounding counties and be able to travel throughout the region as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintains service desk plus informatics tickets, including timely and accurate responses for issues referred by EMR Users.
• Monitors timeliness and effectiveness of the EMR Vendor response to service task tickets.
• Coordinates Gateway participation in the vendor’s user groups.
• Reviews and distributes communications from the EMR vendor, including all release notes, trainings, and updates.
• Coordinates data definitions and data integrity issues, as well as changes to service types, forms, and policies.
• Provides ongoing staff trainings on EMR and workflows.
• Prepares variation analysis worksheets.
• Prepares graphs of market, census, financial, and other data for regular, ongoing reporting.
• Provides data on legislative matters relating to substance use disorder (SUD) treatment and funding.
• Provides data and information for various regulatory bodies.
• Provides data for preparation of grant applications.
• Performs various clerical duties as necessary.
• Assists in special projects as needed.
• Travels to various Gateway sites as needed.
• Attends GRC mandatory training and in-services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience working with electronic medical record software products.
• Experience working with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 security regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• EMR Behavioral Health experience preferred.
• Sigmund Software/Aura experience preferred.

Additional Requirements

• PA Criminal History Record check.
• Obtain PA Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprinting Clearances.
• Pass Drug Test.
• 2-Step TB test.

Skills

• Computer literacy required for Microsoft Office Products (Word and PowerPoint), including advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• SQL Knowledge and Experience.
• Tableau.

Work Environment

• Remote position with minimal physical demands.
