About the role

The Analytic Consultant provides strategic consultative services focused on UnitedHealthcare’s Value Story through deep analytics of health plan performance. This role supports complex employer groups across National Markets and collaborates with the broader Account Management Team to address customer analytic needs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary contact and project manager for assigned clients
  • Create compelling, client-specific insights and content for various client engagements
  • Present a portion of client engagements based on client needs
  • Tell a story with actionable insights using data and reporting
  • Mastery and seamless navigation of data, tools, and related resources
  • Participate and complete colleague feedback reviews
  • Collaborate and cross-train pod members
  • Communicate information openly and professionally as a strategic consultative subject matter expert

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years in a customer-facing role, preferably within a sales, account management, TPA, or consulting environment
  • Knowledgeable of healthcare cost and quality topics, able to speak to emerging industry trends
  • Intermediate or higher skills within Office 365 applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated clear and concise written & verbal communication skills; successful virtual presentation experience
  • Demonstrated presentation skills, preferably with a director-level and higher audience

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience in data analytics, data science, or statistics
  • Travel may be required up to 20%

Pay

The salary for this role ranges from $72,800 - $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. All employees working remotely must adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.

Schedule

The role offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S., with a requirement to work in the office at least four days per week in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area.
