Infectious Diseases Specialist

About the role

Join a referral center for leukemia and lymphoma patients, collaborating with experienced physicians to provide expert infectious diseases care with a focus on hematologic malignancies, cellular therapies, and bone marrow transplants.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized infectious diseases care to immunocompromised patients, including those undergoing bone marrow transplants and cellular therapies
• Participate in general infectious diseases call rotations (1:6)
• Contribute to the growth and development of the transplant and immunocompromised host program
• Engage in teaching and mentoring of internal medicine residents and HIV fellows
• Participate in clinical research and multidisciplinary care initiatives

Requirements

• Board certification or eligibility in Infectious Diseases
• Eligibility for California medical license
• Formal training in Transplant Infectious Diseases or relevant experience in immunocompromised host management
