About the role
Join a referral center for leukemia and lymphoma patients, collaborating with experienced physicians to provide expert infectious diseases care with a focus on hematologic malignancies, cellular therapies, and bone marrow transplants.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized infectious diseases care to immunocompromised patients, including those undergoing bone marrow transplants and cellular therapies
- Participate in general infectious diseases call rotations (1:6)
- Contribute to the growth and development of the transplant and immunocompromised host program
- Engage in teaching and mentoring of internal medicine residents and HIV fellows
- Participate in clinical research and multidisciplinary care initiatives
Requirements
- Board certification or eligibility in Infectious Diseases
- Eligibility for California medical license
- Formal training in Transplant Infectious Diseases or relevant experience in immunocompromised host management
