Infectious Disease Specialist

About the role

Hospital based position includes both inpatient and outpatient Infectious Disease consultations.
Participate in active Infection Control and Antibiotic Stewardship programs.
Opportunity to provide consultation in an established wound clinic as well as care for the HIV/AIDS population.
No primary care consultations.
Flexible call, currently 1:2.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative services in infectious diseases.
• Engage in Infection Control and Antibiotic Stewardship programs.
• Contribute to the wound clinic and HIV/AIDS patient care.
• Occasional participation in call schedule.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine and/or Infectious Diseases.
• Experience in hospital-based infectious disease practice preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interest in teaching and mentoring.

Benefits

• 7 weeks time off per year.
• $4500 CME allowance.

Pay

Competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Flexible call schedule, currently 1:2.
