About the role

Clinical Pharmacist Join Tampa General Hospital’s Infectious Diseases and Antimicrobial Stewardship pharmacy team as an Infectious Diseases Pharmacotherapy Specialist. This advanced clinical pharmacist role provides expert pharmacotherapy management for complex infectious diseases patients across inpatient and ambulatory care settings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Leadership within an IDSA and bioMérieux Antimicrobial Stewardship Center of Excellence
• Active involvement in antimicrobial stewardship, clinical research, and quality improvement initiatives
• Precepting and mentoring PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residents, including a PGY2 ID resident
• Multiple teaching opportunities, including USF Infectious Diseases Fellows, medical residents, pharmacy residents, and students
• Collaboration with a nationally recognized team committed to innovation, education, and evidence-based patient care
• As a clinician, educator, researcher, and leader, you will help advance infectious diseases pharmacy practice while supporting TGH’s mission of delivering world-class care.
