Infection Prevention Nurse (RN) - Full-Time Day Shift + On-Call

About the Role

This position involves collaborating with facility leadership and the medical director to develop, implement, and evaluate infection control strategies.

Responsibilities

• Manage infection surveillance, antibiotic stewardship, isolation protocols, COVID-19 prevention, employee health, and vaccination programs
• Monitor and respond to outbreaks
• Conduct audits and risk assessments
• Participate in QAPI committees
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Facilitate interdisciplinary communication

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
• At least 5 years of clinical nursing and infection prevention experience in a skilled nursing setting
• Current Missouri nursing license
• CPR/AED certification
• Infection Prevention certification is highly desirable

Pay

Salary range from $59,810.13 to $106,407 annually.
