About the role

The role involves overseeing the daily operations of the cafeteria and residential dining services at CIT/Messiah College. This includes managing staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and coordinating with external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the cafeteria and residential dining services.
• Manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Coordinate with external vendors for supply chain management.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and service quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., hospitality, nutrition, or business).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in food service management or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage staff and maintain high standards of food safety.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in college or university settings preferred.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and special meal plans.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Skills

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with food service management software.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.

Pay

Schedule
