Industrial Training Specialist

About the role

Leveraging industrial maintenance expertise, this position supports the sales, marketing, development, and delivery of specialized technical training programs for manufacturing and industrial applications, while overseeing related projects.

A key component of the role includes business development and the cultivation of strong employer partnerships. Some travel and occasional work outside standard hours may be required to meet departmental needs.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Education: Associate's Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
• Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree.
• Licenses and Certifications: Career and Technical Instructional Certificate.
• Experience: Three (3) years of work experience in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of equipment and/or processes related to industrial maintenance operations.
• Experience: Completion of a registered apprenticeship program in mechatronics, industrial maintenance or related field.
• Experience: Training/mentoring experience.
• Experience: Sales/marketing experience.
• Experience: Grant administration experience.

Pay

The yearly salary range is $70,000 - $80,000.
