Responsibilities
- Manage retail Store Managers, including setting goals and objectives, monitoring performance, and reviewing results with direct reports at least monthly.
- Manage inside sales and customer service representatives, setting and tracking sales targets, overseeing customer service activities, and recommending improvements to sales administration processes.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager and Product Manager to establish appropriate inventory levels, determine core products, primary vendors, stocking parameters, and direct-ship items.
- Develop pricing strategies across product categories and partner with the Product Manager.
- Identify training needs for Regional Sales Managers, inside sales, and retail personnel, and coordinate with Marketing on sales literature, trade shows, vendor programs, and proactive marketing initiatives.
- Maintain strong relationships with core product suppliers and attend key vendor sales meetings as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a related industry in a sales or technical role.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales management.

- Demonstrated success as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer focus.
- Proficient with email, internet applications, MS Office, CRM systems, and related tools.
- Strong business acumen and industry knowledge.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to develop strategies and execute through staff.

Pay
Starting at $130,000 plus variable incentive plan. Individual salaries will be set within the compensation range and determined by factors such as market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise, and internal equity considerations.
