Division Sales Manager
About the role
As the Division Sales Manager, you will lead, coach, and develop a team of Outside Sales Representatives to achieve peak performance and professional growth. You will drive the growth of IPS business within the assigned market by identifying opportunities and expanding customer relationships. You will recommend annual sales forecasts and plans, update as needed to meet changing market conditions, play a key role in achieving divisional sales and profit goals, monitor weekly and monthly sales reports and performance metrics, lead contract negotiations, pricing strategy, and customer presentations for key opportunities, develop sales strategies, tactics, and techniques based on customer feedback and market trends, maintain strong collaboration with operations teams, including purchasing and logistics, to meet quality, pricing, and delivery commitments, assist in preparation of the annual company budget, and oversee divisional activities, analyzing performance and reporting variances as needed.
Responsibilities

- Play a key role in achieving divisional sales and profit goals
- Maintain strong collaboration with operations teams, including purchasing and logistics, to meet quality, pricing, and delivery commitments
- Assist in preparation of the annual company budget
- Oversee divisional activities, analyzing performance and reporting variances as needed
- Ride with sales representatives regularly to coach, mentor, and help deliver packaging solutions to customers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in packaging, industrial, or freight industries
- 5+ years of experience managing people and territories
- Proven ability to drive sales, coach teams, and develop strategic plans
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
