At Publix, you’ll also be part of an employee-owned company where your contributions support a business you can have a stake in, while building a long-term career with an organization known for promoting from within.Responsibilities include: Supervising construction related activities related to industrial construction projectsProviding input for the Annual Building Maintenance BudgetSupervising Special Projects and Capital Expenditure Projects as requested by warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, and support facilities involving Industrial ConstructionOverseeing miscellaneous maintenance and repairs of the following: buildings, parking lots, grounds, docks, roofing, doors, elevators, floors, lighting, CSX Railroad, water towers (potable and fire), refrigeration and utility systems (electrical, plumbing, gas, utilities, etc.)Selecting new contractors or vendors while continually evaluating opportunities to improve quality, value, and cost-effectivenessCompleting other various tasks such as creating budgets for projects, maintaining project records and monitoring key performance indicators Required Qualifications High School diploma or its equivalentMust be at least 20 years of age with a valid driver’s license to operate a company owned vehicle At least three years of industrial and commercial construction experienceBasic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Basic knowledge of SAP Must be willing to obtain certificates required for ADA (American Disability Act), Hazwoper (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response).
