Responsibilities
- Participate in project scope development.
- Develop and implement the overall project execution strategy.
- Establish critical path activities and develop project funding strategies.
- Develop project budgets, including detailed cost estimates.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project schedules.
- Coverage project activities between customer requirements, engineering resources, and construction trade schedules.
- Review project plans with an emphasis on constructability and material/component lead times.
- Coverage with Area Coordinators, customers, and engineering teams to develop quarterly and monthly construction budgets.
- Prepare and submit project funding requests.
- Maintain project expenditures against approved budgets.
- Monitor and control project schedules to ensure achievement of critical milestones and completion dates.
- Coverage with safety, environmental, and other regulatory stakeholders, as well as the appropriate Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), to support project compliance.
- Prepare and maintain monthly cash flow projections and construction status reports, and participate in project status meetings as required.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, driving each project through successful completion and closeout.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of project management or project coordination experience within a semiconductor or mission-critical environment.
- Strong project planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.
- Experience developing and managing project budgets and cost estimates.
- Ability to monitor project schedules, budgets, and cash flow throughout the project lifecycle.
- Knowledge of construction project coordination and constructability reviews.
- Strong understanding of project funding and cost control processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to coordinate effectively across engineering, construction, customer, and regulatory teams.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and prioritization skills.
- Able to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with project scheduling and project management software.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
- PMP certification preferred.
