Supervisor, Construction
Job Description
Manages construction and renovation projects to ensure timely completion within budget. Oversees construction team members and coordinates in-house construction projects. Develops project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitors progress. Communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment. Ensures compliance with architectural, engineering, and construction protocols. Facilitates meetings and discussions to address project issues and updates. Organizes tasks and manages multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Provides excellent customer service and maintains good working relationships. Applies knowledge of construction methods and utilizes tools, equipment, and materials effectively. Sets up ICRA containments to meet Infection Control requirements. Reads and interprets blueprints and floor plans accurately. Works independently, takes initiative, prioritizes tasks, and meets deadlines.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Knowledge of construction means and methods
- Ability to apply construction methods in the field
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and have good comprehension of conversational English
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Special in-depth knowledge in either architecture or one of the construction engineering disciplines
Education
- High School Grad or Equiv
- Field Of Study or equivalent
- Two year degree in construction management or similar field
Work Experience
- 5+ experience in any or all of the listed accountabilities and essential job functions and a successful history of working with customers
- 5+ experience in any or all of the listed accountabilities and essential job functions in a health care setting and a successful history of working with customers
