About the role

The Industrial Measurement Survey Project Manager will lead and deliver ongoing and exciting upcoming projects out of our Corpus Christi, Texas office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage laser scanning and dimensional control surveying projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating project requirements, deliverables, and expectations.
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee field data acquisition activities, working closely with technicians and survey teams.
  • Oversee processing of point cloud data, including registration, geo-referencing, as-built modeling, and plan preparation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project standards.
  • Review and approve project deliverables, drawings, and models prior to client submission.
  • Cover internal resources, subcontractors, and equipment to support successful project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve issues to keep projects on track.
  • Support business development efforts through scope development, fee estimates, and technical input as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in managing Laser Scanning, Construction Surveying, or Dimensional Control Surveying projects.
  • Dimensional Control Surveying- minimum of 5 years experience
  • Working knowledge of point cloud processing and modeling workflows using software such as Trimble RealWorks, AVEVA LFM / Point Cloud Manager, and Leica Cyclone.
  • Familiarity with laser scanning technologies and equipment (Faro, Z&F, Trimble) and survey instrumentation (Leica total stations).
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and other related design and analysis software.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Able to collaborate with field and office teams and provide technical guidance when needed.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced project environment.
