Industrial Maintenance Technician- UPW

About the role

SkyWater is seeking a UPW Technician to join their team, responsible for the operation and maintenance of an Ultra-Pure Water System in a semiconductor factory. The ideal candidate will have skills in system operation and maintenance, knowledge of UPW process, and experience with UPW and IWN equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine operations tasks pertaining to the UPW / IWN equipment and systems using computer interface
• Perform maintenance activities on UPW and IWN equipment, test equipment, loading/unloading UPW resin, RO membranes, filters including installation and commissioning
• Support the operation and maintenance of the UPW and IWN process systems
• Interface with operation personnel and facilities engineers and other technicians to work in an operating factory
• Troubleshoot mechanical equipment, valves, instruments, and controls interface

Requirements

• Participate as a member of the RODI operations team working with the SkyWater Technologies UPW System Owner
• Good technical writing skills, able to write work plans for scheduled maintenance work
• Navigate SkyWater Facilities Operation systems and understand functionality on screens
• Understanding of overall system installation from a process implementation standpoint
• Troubleshooting of field devices and process equipment to clearly identify process out of spec conditions and assist in root cause analysis and recovery of system to in spec state of operation
• Strong understanding of Ultra-Pure Water and Industrial Wastewater Systems and Operation
• Experience with all types of UPW instrumentation including Flow, Pressure, Temperature, Conductivity, Control Valves, etc. installation and application

Qualifications

• High School or GED
• 5+ years of work experience (water plant)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, bend and/or crouch, and navigate stairs

Pay and Schedule

The position is a full-time, C-shift compressed work week. SkyWater offers competitive salary and an opportunity to participate in incentive plans.
