This is a 2nd shift role (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) with consistent weekday hours and a rotating on-call schedule. Ideal for someone with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
- Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities to include fabricating parts and assemblies.
- Follow up on and study recurring facility-oriented failures in an effort to find solutions.
- Attend to RTU air conditioners, filter changes, wash condensers, tighten belts.
- Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials necessary for the operation of the building and manufacturing.
- Wood working projects.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of mechanical technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Understand Lock-Out-Tag-Out.
- Ability to thread pipe and solder copper pipes.
- Drug test required.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Rotating on-call weekends (minimum 2 hours paid if called in)
Pay
- $23.00/hour or higher, depending on experience
- Additional $1.00/hour shift differential
