Industrial Maintenance Technician, 1st shift
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to schedule.
- Perform adjustments and repairs to plant facilities and equipment, as needed.
- Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to identify potential issues.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Oversee contractors on-site for maintenance and facility activities.
- Adhere to SQF, and GMP procedures.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to improve equipment performance.
Requirements
- Technical training in mechanical and/or electrical fields is a must.
- 3 - 5 years previous experience needed.
- Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Attention to detail and adherence to procedures.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety and physical fitness for the job.
- Knowledge of PLC.
- Knowledge of CMMS, to complete daily maintenance work orders.
- Knowledge in top sealer, case erectors, conveyors, mixers, pumps, and tape machines.
Qualifications
Hours: Monday through Friday from 6:30AM to 3PM, 8-hour shift plus mandatory overtime. (working 10hrs max a day)
Salary: $25.00 - 30.00 per hour based on experience
