We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team at a well-established precision manufacturer in Minneapolis. This is a full-time, permanent position operating on the 1st shift.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery including pumps, motors, conveyors, and other heavy equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Carry out electrical troubleshooting to identify and fix electrical problems.
- Ensure optimal performance of industrial equipment and systems by conducting regular inspections and maintenance.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and perform immediate repairs to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work carried out.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members and share knowledge and skills to ensure a high level of service is maintained.
- Assist in the installation and set-up of new machinery and equipment.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or a similar role in the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and working with heavy equipment.
- Proficiency in working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, pumps, motors, and conveyors.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in the industrial setting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
- A relevant certification or diploma in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Pay
$35 - $42 per hour
