Roles and Responsibilities

  • Learn and demonstrate the ability to practice safe work habits, proper tool selection and usage, and general shop practices
  • Assist with assigned preventive maintenance tasks and scheduled maintenance
  • Respond with team to equipment stoppage/mechanical breakdown
  • Aid in identifying mechanical wear and assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and replacing mechanical drive and conveyor components
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
  • Perform other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Completion of or enrollment in a curriculum of approximately 40 hours of industrial maintenance with 9 extra hours of PLC training
  • Must be enrolled in a Technical/Trade or College program in industrial maintenance or related field
  • Ability to climb fixed and portable ladders to a height of twenty feet
  • Ability to stoop and bend while lifting weights up to fifty pounds
  • Ability to climb onto and crawl under machinery as required

Pay

Salary Range: $25.53 hourly
