Industrial Forklift Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Able to repair or replace minor and major system components, including electrical parts hydraulics, mechanical, L.P. systems, power steering, transmissions and engines.
• Troubleshoot forklift related issues.
• Perform proper preventative maintenance (PMs) in a timely manner.
• Service and repair other miscellaneous types of equipment including electric carts, trailers and yard equipment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Forklift Mechanic.
• Must be willing to work 1st shift.
• Must pass pre-employment tests including a drug screen, background check, physical, Functional Capacity & Respirator exams.
• Job requires frequent reaching above shoulders, stooping, kneeling, and/or crouching.
• Must be capable of lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
• Able to read and understand electrical and hydraulic system schematics.
• Able to work in a team environment.
