Forklift Mechanic

About the Role

R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for a Forklift Mechanic at our San Antonio, TX Service Center. Preferred candidates will work in a fast-paced environment, rebuilding, repairing, and maintaining forklifts, pallet jacks, and hydraulic lifts. Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild, repair, and maintain forklifts, pallet jacks, and hydraulic lifts
• Perform repairs and maintenance on electric and manual pallet jacks
• Aerial lift repair and maintenance (preferred)
• Use a computer to create and manage repair work orders
• Lift up to 125 lbs as part of daily tasks
• Work in a fast-paced environment and remain self-motivated

Requirements

• Clean driving record for the past 5 years
• 3 years of experience with repair and maintenance of industrial fork trucks
• Experience with electric and manual pallet jack repair/maintenance
• Must have your own tools on site (company provides specialized tools)
• Ability to lift 100 lbs

Pay

Up to $30.62 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, Monday - Friday, various shifts
