Forklift Mechanic

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a Forklift Mechanic at their Louisville, KY Service Center. This position offers the potential to earn up to $37.25 per hour, full-time, Monday through Friday, with various shifts available.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild, repair, and maintain forklifts, pallet jacks, and hydraulic lifts.
• Other duties as required by management.

Requirements

• A clean driving record for the past 5 years.
• 3 years of experience with the repair/maintenance of industrial fork trucks.
• Electric & manual pallet jack repair/maintenance experience.
• Aerial lift repair/maintenance experience is a plus.
• Ability to use a computer for tasks such as creating repair work orders.
• Own tools on site; company provides specialized tools.
• Able to lift 100 lbs.
• Fast-paced work environment and self-motivation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to lift 125 lbs.
