About the role

As an Industrial Facilities Maintenance Technician at Honeywell, you will perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation and safety of our physical facilities. You will maintain industrial fabrication equipment, systems, and infrastructure to support overall efficiency and functionality. This on-site role is based in Palmetto, FL, and reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. Your work will enhance facility reliability and safety, contributing to a productive and secure environment for employees and visitors while minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Schedule

Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Assist in maintaining facility safety and compliance by adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies.

Requirements

You must have:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair facility industrial machinery efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Experience with safety and regulatory compliance in facility operations.
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment used in facilities upkeep.

We value:

  • Associate’s degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, HVAC, or related field.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, commercial trade, or industrial environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet maintenance goals.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.
