Qualifications
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, conduit, and associated components throughout the facility.
- Run, bend, and install rigid, EMT, and flexible conduit as required for new and existing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues involving motors, motor controls, sensors, starters, overloads, circuit breakers, relays, and other industrial electrical components.
- Diagnose and replace AC motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and related control systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to maximize reliability and reduce downtime.
- Absorb and replace AC motors, VFDs, and motor control systems.
- Assist with mechanical and general maintenance projects as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Arc Flash requirements.
- Participate in weekend work, emergency repairs, and rotating on-call schedules as needed to support plant operations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to install, troubleshoot, repair, and replace industrial electrical components, including sensors, motor starters, overloads, circuit breakers, relays, and wiring systems.
- Experience in food manufacturing or other industrial production environments is a plus.
- Strong understanding of 480V three-phase power systems and electrical distribution.
- Proficiency in sizing, bending, and installing metal and flexible conduit.
- Experience troubleshooting and replacing AC motors, VFDs, and motor control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a maintenance team.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred.
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Arc Flash training preferred.
- Working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards preferred.
