Industrial Electrician

A well-established and growing steel processing company with a strong track record in the industry is hiring Industrial Electricians to join their production team on both 1st and 3rd shift. This is a team that cares about their people and values technicians who take ownership of their work.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair 480V three-phase power distribution, motor controls, MCCs, transformers, relays, and contactors
• Diagnose and maintain VFDs, PLC-controlled equipment, HMIs, sensors, safety relays, and light curtains
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
• Support root-cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions
• Participate in equipment upgrades, automation improvements, and capital projects

Requirements

• 5-10 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
• Strong troubleshooting ability with PLC-controlled equipment (mostly Allen-Bradley)
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA 70E, and Lockout/Tagout
• Industrial electrical training, apprenticeship, technical school, or equivalent experience
• Open to either 1st shift (7am-3pm) or 3rd shift (10pm-7am); 3rd shift includes an additional shift differential

Pay

$33.60 - $40/hr

Schedule

• 1st shift: 7am-3pm
• 3rd shift: 10pm-7am (includes shift differential)
