About the role
Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining production equipment in a print manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues on production machinery to ensure minimal downtime.
- Interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, and ladder logic for troubleshooting.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance using various tools and test equipment.
- Collaborate with production teams to support changeovers, prioritize work, and reduce failures.
- Document maintenance activities and suggest improvements for equipment reliability.
Requirements
- 4–6+ years of experience maintaining and installing industrial electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Hands-on experience with high-voltage systems, electronics troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs.
- Ability to read schematics and follow safety procedures like lockout/tagout.
- Self-motivated team player capable of working independently and making sound decisions.
- Flexibility for 12-hour night shifts and overtime.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with electrical codes, PLC troubleshooting/programming, pneumatics, hydraulics, and light welding.
Physical Requirements
- Extended standing, bending, twisting, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
