Industrial Electrician

Position Summary

As the Industrial Electrician, you will install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and parts, such as, motors, hydraulic pneumatic, be adept at installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining PLC and/or computer-controlled production equipment and controls to include Modicon and Allen Bradley equipment.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Must be able to read prints, diagrams, schematics, programs and operating instructions
• Adept at installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining PLC and/or computer-controlled production equipment and controls to include Modicon and Allen Bradley equipment
• Able to assist in the maintaining of preventive maintenance schedule for all electronics/equipment
• Able to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on a wide variety of industrial equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics and conveyors
• Provide technical assistance on the design, repair, or improvement of equipment

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Electrician within a manufacturing environment
• An Associate degree in Electrical Technology and/or graduation from an acceptable Technical Training Institution in an electrical or electronic systems program is preferred
• Proven experience with PLC (Allen Bradley) and/or computer-controlled production equipment essential
• Possess experience in AC/DC motor control
